Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow in Trauma and Neurosciences Critical Care at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. We are undergoing a period of rapid evolution in the way we manage trauma, traumatic brain injury, cerebrovascular pathology, encephalitis and the full range of medical neurological diseases. This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding time to work with us.

NCCU is a 23 bedded state of the art intensive care unit which accepts all patients requiring specialist neurointensive care for any form of brain, spinal or neurological injury, as well as all major trauma care, from across the Eastern of England, 5.9 million people. Although this is not a training post NCCU is recognised by the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the FICM to provide training in general intensive care and specialist training in neuro intensive care. This clinical fellow post is suitable for Out of Programme experience in ICM at intermediate and advanced levels, but recognition for this must be applied for from the relevant college prospectively. Applicants from anaesthetic, medical or surgical backgrounds will be considered.
