The Neurocritical Care Unit in Cambridge is a large busy trauma and neurosciences intensive care unit. We are currently recruiting doctors to work at all levels.

Details are available here:

The NCCU is a 23 bedded state of the art intensive care unit catering for level 2/3 patients, we accept patients requiring specialist neurointensive care for any form of brain, spinal or neurological injury, as well as a significant number of complex trauma patients from across the East of Englang region.

NCCU is a central component of the Major Trauma Centre based at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and is renowned for its state of the art cerebral monitoring and imaging which includes access to the Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre incorporating MRI and Positron Emission Tomography technology.

We provide extensive infrastructure for a clinical research targeting acute brain injury and complex trauma and ample education and service development opportunities are also available. We would be particularly interested from doctors who are interested in developing our #FOAMed resources.

Further information about our unit is also available on the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine website.
