Milan Neurocritical Care Summer School

June 26th – 30th 2017.
Our friend and colleague Giuseppe Citerio from the University of Milan, Monza, Italy is organising the Milano Bicocca University Summer School on NeuroIntensive Care. This is a very exciting addition to the European critical care education calendar.
The Summer School is designed to help intensive care clinicians improve patient care and outcomes in severe neurological emergencies and will employ collaborative, multi-disciplinary teaching using lectures, workgroups, workshops, and simulations on the basic sciences and clinical medicine relevant to neurocritical care.
The programme will include teaching on monitoring – ICP – brain oxygenation – continuous EEG – treatment of traumatic and non-traumatic neuro-emergencies – traumatic brain injury – ischemic and vascular strokes – CNS sepsis – and interpretation of cross sectional imaging.
Detailed information will be available in the first part of February on the Milan Bicocca University website.
The official language will be English.
